Sunday Morning Blues

So ladies, it’s Sunday morning the kids are all ready to go. You’re all dressed, make up and hair done if that’s your sort of thing are you grabbing your lipstick or your lip gloss as the final touches to do in the car as you head out of the door and the one thing that is not headed to the car is your husband. As you back out of the driveway, and your Husband

waves goodbye to you and your children. On the outside you appear fine, but then that feeling starts to kick in, that sadness, that hopefulness, maybe for some of you ladies a little resentment.

What do we do in this moment?

Do we give the enemy the power over our peace, act on emotions towards our husbands? Or do we walk in our faith? Do we go to church and receive the word, or are we thinking about what we left in the driveway at home?

Lord, let us not give the enemy a stronghold in our homes today! As we leave for church time and time again and our husbands aren’t with us, let us truly reflect what we learned today. Let our life be a walking testimony to how good God is as our husbands are witnessing us. Let us come back with more joy than when we left to fill our homes. Oh Lord in Jesus name I pray amen.
